A Dozer (aka crawler or bulldozer) is a machine that runs on continuous tracks and features a large steel blade at the front to move materials and objects. The tracks allow the machine to maneuver over rough terrain and push earth and other heavy objects like trees and boulders. The machine comes in varying sizes and is used in construction, mining, and waste industries. The SimLite Dozer will teach learners how to perform a Walkaround inspection; how the controls work; how to steer the machine; how to perform straight and level dozing, backfilling and slot dozing.
Learners can train to run a dozer using the same genuine Cat controls as found in the real machine. Throughout the course the learner will practice on the simulator to run the machine and complete the corresponding lessons and quizzes.
Simformotion™ is the licensee for Cat® Simulators for Caterpillar Inc. During the development of Cat Simulators, the Simformotion team worked closely with subject-matter experts to develop each exercise using the same techniques as found on real-world jobsites. Our curriculum works in tandem with simulation training to create a full educational experience for the learner. Throughout the material you will see images taken directly from the Cat Simulators simulation software. The images are used to help illustrate lessons and techniques.
