Simulation adds hands-on training without the fear of lasting effects of a mishap. Cat® Simulators Track Type Tractor (aka Dozer) teaches learners the fundamentals of operation, including maneuvering, blade steering, backfilling, ripping, dozing over a highwall and more. Training with OEM controls ensures the learner transitions seamlessly to the field knowing the same operations as taught in class. Blended learning comes from a mix of hands-on and classroom training on the dozer.
Track Type Tractors/Dozers move on continuous twin tracks instead of wheels and have a large, steel blade at the front for moving earth. The tracks give the machine excellent ground hold and mobility when moving over rough terrain. Blades can be removed, and a blade type chosen for the job application being accomplished. Track Type Tractors/Dozers are designed to push heavy objects and remove any obstacles stuck in the ground. These machines are widely used in the general construction, civil construction, quarry and mining industries.
Simformotion™ is the licensee for Cat® Simulators for Caterpillar Inc. During the development of Cat Simulators, the Simformotion team worked closely with subject-matter experts to develop each exercise using the same techniques as found on real-world jobsites. Our curriculum works in tandem with simulation training to create a full educational experience for the learner. Throughout the material you will see images taken directly from the Cat Simulators simulation software. The images are used to help illustrate lessons and techniques.
