The Excavator most often can be found on constructions sites, large and small. The versatile machine is capable of mass excavation work, including digging, trenching, demolition, and many other applications.
The excavator consists of a cab that sits atop a tracked or wheeled undercarriage with a boom, stick and bucket attached to the cab. The stick is attached to the end of the boom and provides the force needed to dig and pull the bucket through the earth. On the end of the stick is the bucket. Learners will gain an understanding of many types of operations based on specific training exercises developed for SimLite. For more hands-on training and curriculum options, see the Hydraulic Excavator and Advanced Construction Excavator models.
Simformotion™ is the licensee for Cat® Simulators for Caterpillar Inc. During the development of Cat Simulators, the Simformotion team worked closely with subject-matter experts to develop each exercise using the same techniques as found on real-world jobsites. Our curriculum works in tandem with simulation training to create a full educational experience for the learner. Throughout the material you will see images taken directly from the Cat Simulators simulation software. The images are used to help illustrate lessons and techniques.
